Tech, logistics, sales, marketing, sales production: join us on an exciting, digital-centred journey.Veepee, the e-commerce leader French group, creator and worldwide leader of flash sales concept is looking for a General Accountant for the Southern Europe market.Your main responsibilities:Manage and record vendor invoices, banks and credit cards paymentsPost and review general ledger entries and support informationMaintain and update fixed assets ledgerRegister payroll and other expense allocation.Manage balance sheet reconciliation and prepare reporting sheets in monthly basis.Own several key monthly closing tasks, including vendor account review, accruals, payroll, assets, prepayments. Work closing Controlling team.Create Billing documents related with Intercompany Services. Safeguard internal controls process through the review of PO details, contract terms and invoicing. Support the timely reporting of key financial informationManage the Indirect Procurement cycle - PO review, payment, tracking, cost control follow-up and PO close for Services.Prepare necessary information required for tax compliance purposes (VAT, Income tax and Withholding tax), and collaborate with external tax providers under Accounting Manager supervision.Prepare and follow up on monthly payments in communication with Treasury department.Onboard new suppliers (including tax ID and banking validation); identify and cull duplicate or inactive vendors.Ensure compliance with IFRS and local GAAP accounting rules, where applicableParticipate actively in Audit Process (Interim and yearly audit)Participate in the Implementation of new accounting tools and systemsPerform other ad hoc duties as assigned.What you will need to succeed:Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or economics.2-3 years of proven experience in a similar role.Advanced knowledge of Excel and SAP (S/4HANA).Fluent English and Spanish. Ability to work proactively, strong team-working skills with ability to work independently.Keen attention to detail, able to consistently deliver timely and accurate work.Change lover. Ability to work in a fast changing environment. You would participate in new process design, creating from scratch!
