The Red Hat Program and Marketing Technology Team is looking for a Developer Program Marketing Manager to join us anywhere in Europe where Red Hat has an entity. In this role you will develop and fulfill Europe, the Middle East, and Africa's (EMEA) Developer programs and campaigns that will attract developers to Red Hat. In this role, you will lead the program strategy to position the way our products interact with the needs of developers on all levels. You’ll build trust with developers that Red Hat is open and cares about their needs and combine this in a way that defines a path to productive results. You will work across multiple teams in EMEA and corporate to enable and deliver end to end programs that address developer’s needs. As a Developer Program Marketing Manager, you’ll need to be comfortable communicating at all levels of the organization, managing conflict and tradeoffs, enabling cross functional clarity, and guiding accountability. Primary job responsibilities

  • Develop campaigns that increase developer acquisition and conversion; partner with evangelism to develop content and social or community topics that increase adoption and net promoters 
  • Design creative, data-driven marketing experiments to test channels, processes, and messages to identify the most effective way to increase deeper engagement across tools and services including marketing, customer care or support, training, and other channels
  • Collaborate with global and regional marketing teams on demand generation strategy and delivery; scale our content through our customer, field, and partner channels to accelerate sales and adoption of our technology
  • Combine, plan, and deliver audience-specific messages and tools like value propositions, product videos, customer success stories, demos, whitepapers, presentations, how-to guides, blogs, webinars, data sheets and brochures, website, social, and more, to demonstrate expertise and vision
  • Coordinate paid social for selected campaigns; promote and establish Red Hat as brand for developers
  • Acquire and curate developer targeted internal and external content for Red Hat Developer 
  • Send monthly EMEA Developer Newsletter to EMEA contacts
  • Pilot localized content for one or two countries
  • Create EMEA developer online events e.g., “Quarkus Day”, “OpenShift Day”, Devnation “Banking”
  • Run and extend OpenDevHour Webinars 
  • Expand account specific landing pages including developer nurture flow
  • Create and share with the community of developers a monthly EMEA Developer newsletter 
  • Launch independent software vendor (ISV) developer engagement competition for Quarkus and Red Hat OpenShift
  • Work with a cross-organizational group of stakeholders to develop a unified voice to the Red Hat Developer community
  • Support the account-based marketing programs for developers; manage end-to-end programs to expand Red Hat centric developers in top accounts 
  • Deliver comprehensive ROI analysis on all marketing activities; implement developer metric and tracking

    • Required skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related discipline
  • 6+ years of experience in B2B marketing preferably in a technology field
  • 3+ years of experience in recent search expertise like SEO, SEA, SEM, algorithms, etc.
  • Ability to develop and implement integrated program offerings
  • Ability to effectively communicate and guide consensus among geographically distributed, cross-functional teams
  • Experience working with agencies for strategic media planning and buying
  • Responsive with good organisational and communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership, creativity, and initiative
  • Highly proficient in self-starting, self-managing, and self-assessing
