The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for the successful set-up and management of the growth strategy and sales operations of the new e-commerce business unit. Will explore, evaluate, recommend and implement process improvements. Will recruit, train and manage the Inside Sales Team. Will lead the implementation of and data-driven improvement the Sales Funnel. Will implement and iterate sales strategies to grow lead-to-sale conversion, also working with various outsourced service providers, to rapidly grow digital sales of young pre-owned cars. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following: •Set up the Inside Sales Team and Operations for the e-commerce business unit•Work with Marketing and Product to optimize lead generation•Implement the Customer Journey from MVP stage and through to iteration for growth•Develop and implement comprehensive business strategies and inside sales growth plans•Manage all on- and offline activity to impact and grow conversion, sales, revenue and perform a/b testing and reporting•Design and lead implementation of all required inside sales KPI reports to lead data-driven sales growth•Lead and nurture a team of Inside Sales Consultants, including responsibility for hiring, training and performance coaching and management•Complete weekly “ride-alongs” with sales personnel to provide training and coaching.•Meet regularly with sales personnel to review sales activity funnel (CRM tool), outsourcing partner retention and relationship activities, review sales performance compared to goal, production and training needs.•Work together with vendors in order to implement and iterate Sales funnel strategy•Maintain an awareness of market behavior and competitive trends to anticipate changing customer needs; proactively manage customer base.•Assist with new customer solicitation, bid preparation and customer retention strategies. QUALIFICATIONS:•Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing or similar fields or equivalent experience•Minimum of 5 years experience in a role that includes supervising or managing inside sales teams and activities within the eCommerce / online marketplace industry•A strong understanding of sales growth hacking and strategic revenue management in eCommerce for big-ticket sales which regularly require financing•Experience in developing comprehensive sales strategies and implementing data-driven sales funnel management tactics•Can-do attitude, team player and able to multi-task•Self-starter, able to prioritize and focus on critical tasks first•Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills•Fluent Spanish and English are a must; other languages highly desired
