Job Summary:

This position is responsible for supporting the Lean transformation and daily management initiatives.

This position implements and supports actions that add valued improvements which may include -but are not limited
- to safety, customer value proposition, quality, delivery, cycle, growth, margin expansion and inventory.


Responsibilities:


  • To support Operations implementing lean transformation and daily management across the value stream.
  • To act as a change agent to lead improvements in the manufacturing process through the active support, to participate and leader Rapid Improvement Events.
  • Executing key activities as part of Lean Transformation and daily management.
  • To support the launch of all activities needed to incorporate Lean Transformation and daily management into the Value Stream culture.
  • Track all changes/improvements made to provide Plant Leadership/Management the assurance that changes are effective and lasting.

Qualifications:


  • Associates or Bachelor of Science degree or related discipline desired (Equivalent education / training / or experience will be considered in lieu of a formal degree).
  • Experience working in a worldclass Lean working environment highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic Lean Manufacturing concepts and continuous improvementbased tools and techniques highly preferred.

Interpersonal Skills

  • Must be viewed credibly as either an informal leader or a positive influencer of change
  • Ability to mentor team members and facilitate change from a position of Influencer
  • Ability to energize and motivate teams
  • Ability to recognize conflict and take appropriate action within scope of the role
  • Must possess strong written and oral communication and presentation skills with the ability to speak and communicate effectively with various audiences at the site level.
