Who you are

At IKEA, you're welcome no matter where you come from, what you believe, and what you look like. We don't even care how you have furnished your home. We're interested in you simply because you're you.

Our different views, backgrounds, and personalities make us better understand our customers, give us more fun at work and spark more and better ideas.

Perhaps your unique take on something could lead to a great idea that creates a better everyday life for the many people

We believe that working with data excites you, and you may even have a passion for the F.A.I.R principles and the Data Mesh.

But you might just as well have thorough experience with data management, analytics solution architecture, or data engineering, with the ambition to move into the data architect role.

You like being creative when working with data and understand the greater value and potential you create for IKEA.

You like moving between different perspectives, and you have the ability to see how all the pieces come together as a whole.

We also believe that you enjoy working individually as well as in various product teams. You take lead when needed and relevant. Moreover, you enjoy an agile approach, and that change is a natural way forward for you and us.

You like the constructive collaboration with stakeholders, data managers, technology architects and engineers to bring the data perspective.

You love working together creating the needed digital and data products and therefore you have experience with:

  • Communicating effectively across organizational, business, and technical boundaries
  • Guiding teams and making data architecture recommendations with business focus
  • DevOps/DataOps and agile development practices, in which digital and data products evolve through the collaborative effort of selforganizing crossfunctional teams.

Experience with data integration, data warehousing, data analytics, data management, and retail industry is considered valuable, and so is interest or experience in challenges around digital ethics and privacy compliance in a global context.

Most importantly you share and live the IKEA culture and values.
