The job
Reporting to the R&D Director, the job mission is to lead the automation vision and related projects within Vidrala.

The company has identified a strong productivity agenda based on robotization and artificial intelligence as an enabler for the business performance.

Together with Process owners, the Technical Department, and the factories of the company, you will develop, implement, and drive process improvements.

These projects will initially be local pilots but to be fully implemented on a global scale.

It is important to capture feedback from different process owners, actively translate the feedback into enhanced process requirements, construct business cases, and gather and drive project teams to implement change.

Last, you play a pivotal role in scouting for new technologies that could add value to the company's business.

The challenge
Projects are focused on the different technologies used to simplify, standardize and automate business capabilities. Examples are artificial vision and intelligence, digital assistants to production, AGVs, robots, and cobots. You enable the business to achieve leading cost-effective processes with reliable service levels.

Your key responsibilities

Develop and execute the roadmap for technology enhancements within the scope.
Develop internal customer journeys to automate processes.
Leading a project from business case to implementation, ensuring a proper handover to process owners (this includes gathering your own project team with internal and external people).
Engage with Industrial Processes to support their goals with technology introductions.
Keep closely in touch with critical stakeholders across different levels of the organization.
Track and manage project performance towards management/steering group.
Keep closely in touch with technology developments in the market.

The requirements

A Bachelor degree in Engineering or a relevant technical discipline. A Master degree is highly preferred.
You have 510 years of relevant experience as a Project Manager, preferably in automation or IA projects.
Fluency in English and Spanish.
You like being responsible for complex projects in a dynamic international environment.
You are continuously looking for ways to improve.
You are able to work in cross functional, and cross regional teams.
Personal skills: innovative, visionary, active listening, sharing feedback, team builder.
Willingness to travel.
