Outline of position
The primary responsibilities of this position are:
- Acting as the key client contact throughout the client onboarding process to ensure seamless transition from Sales to BAU;
- Act as a first point of contact for client issues relating to onboarding matters;
- Coordinating client adoptions, account openings, review of fund offering documentation and legal agreements, internal system set ups, and project planning;
- Project management and coordination of internal functions to onboard new clients (launches and conversions) including Service Delivery, Sales, Legal, Compliance, and Technology teams;
- Assist in the initial drafting and review of client service agreements;
- Interacting with the Legal Department on template management and control;
- Managing the internal review process across different product and service lines within the fund administration, depository and other product lines;
- Provide day to day client onboarding advice across all Apex Group business lines to best meet their business needs and maintaining good working relationships through active communication, facilitation and teamwork.
- Support the wider onboarding team where required.
- Will report to the Regional Head of Client onboarding.
Required Skills:
- An individual with a legal qualification to degree level;
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience within the investment funds industry;
- A good knowledge of funds industry, experience of different fund structures, domiciles and regulatory requirements is an advantage.
- Be comfortable/competent in dealing with fund structuring issues, legal terminology and fund services agreements;
- Knowledge on Client KYC requirements is an advantage;
- Be highly motivated and a self-starter with the ability to work semi-supervised supporting a fast-paced dynamic business;
- Possess team spirit and enthusiasm with the capacity to build strong client relationships;
- Client facing experience;
- Project management skills.
- Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills and a truly client servicing mindset;
- Professional level of English (spoken and written), every other language is an advantage.
This is a tremendous opportunity for someone with a good knowledge of the funds industry looking to develop their skills further.
The position is very much client facing and will involve client meetings.Additionally, the position will involve a high level of interaction with all functional areas within the Fund administration including Service Delivery teams, Compliance, Technology, Product Management & Sales.
