As a Junior HR Business Partner (HRBP), you will support the HR team in Iberia in implementing HR programs, policies and practices across the organization.

You will work closely with the HR team to ensure that HR initiatives are aligned with the company's strategic goals and objectives at a global and local level.

You will report to the HR Manager Iberia.


This position is based in Madrid and will require sporadic travelling to different Statkraft locations within Spain, Portugal or Europe.


We are offering a temporary "contrato laboral en prácticas" (6 months, extendable for 6 additional months) to offer recent graduates the opportunity to learn and grow within the HR function, gaining exposure to a wide range of HR initiatives and work closely with a team of experienced HR professionals.


Key activities and responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with the HR team to support the implementation of HR global and local programs, policies and practices at a local level.
  • Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Assist with relocation of employees.
  • Assist in the compensation & benefits package, gathering and analyzing market data, ensuring it is competitive, fair, aligned with the company's guidelines, and compliant with CBA regulations.
  • Maintain employee records, including personnel files and HRIS data.
  • Respond to employee inquiries related to HR policies and procedures.
  • Support performance management efforts, including goal setting, performance reviews, and employee development plans.
  • Assist in the creation and delivery of training and development programs
  • Support diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.

Qualifications:


  • Recent graduate (Bachelor or master's level) in Human Resources, Law, Business Administration or related field.
  • Fluent Spanish and English. Other languages, like Portuguese, will be a plus.
  • Handson attitude and proactive working style.
  • Experience in HR will be an asset.
  • Knowledge of Spanish and Portuguese labor law will be a plus.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others and build strong relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of HRIS software will be positively valued.
