We are looking for a new colleague in the Application Engineering Department for steering wheel systems and airbags at our location in Vigo/Spain.

Your tasks:

Product Engineer being responsible for the design and development of steering wheel and airbag components following customer and ZF standards
Technical lead of simultaneous engineering meetings with customer, manufacturing plant, suppliers and other project peers
Main technical contact to coordinate samples and testing needs, including tests reports, problem solving, analysis and countermeasures to improve and validate the product design
Ensure fulfillment on planning milestones and deliverables under Product Engineering responsibility in coordination with the rest of the teams from the beginning of the project until the close out (release of design definition and integration into the car, Design Reviews, Design Validation Plan and Report, D-FMEA, prototype samples and test reports)
Full involvement on change management and problem solving during the project development

Your profile:

Successfully finished Engineering degree or similar
Experience in product development, problem solving analysis as well as in manufacturing and assembly processes desirable
Understanding of technical drawings and technical documents desirable
Good in communication and coordination with people for planning, execution and evaluation
Good English (min. B2 certified) and Spanish language skills in speaking and writing, French and/or German language skills would be a plus
