Senior Project Manager - Trustroke

International Projects Unit
VHIR is seeking a Senior Project Manager with strong leadership and managerial skills for the International

project 'Trustroke' (Trustrworthy AI for Improvements of Stroke Outcomes), and will lead the communication

for the general and scientific management of the project and with the International Projects Unit for the

financial, legal and other transversal management aspects (i.e open science, ethics, etc.).

Education and qualifications:


  • University Degree in health science.
  • PhD will be highly valued.

Experience and knowledge:


Required:


  • At least 3 years of excellent scientific or management experience in European collaborative projects, preferably
in the field of health research, data science and management, data modeling and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

  • Ability to autonomously coordinate project partners and supervise project tasks and WPs execution.
  • Excellent communication and influence skills, with a track record of communicating research data frameworks
to different audiences, and at ease dealing with senior international scientific and policy makers stakeholders.

  • Passionate about research and innovation and knowledge and experience in the healthcare sector

  • High level of English and good level of Spanish or Catalan.

Main responsibilities and duties:


  • Internal communication flow within the consortium, ensure adequate collaboration between the groups working
in different work packages/activities.

  • Preparation of all support material necessary to carry out the correct monitoring at consortium level.
  • Coordinate, lead and monitor the overall performance of the project. Ensure that all beneficiaries will meet
reporting deadlines

  • Coordinate the organization of meetings, minutes and supervise the correct governance of the project and the
constitution of the corresponding governance bodies (general assembly, steering committee, ethics advisory

board, etc.)

  • Guarantee the execution of dissemination activities (social medial platforms, web).
  • Continuous interaction with other Vall d'Hebron Campus departments according to specific project needs (i.e.
the hospital's Information Systems department, VHIR's Biostatistics and Bioinformatics Unit.

  • Act as bridge between clinical professionals and technical and operational units at Vall d'Hebron Campus,
facilitating common understanding and guaranteeing the execution of European Projects needs and agreed

outputs.

  • Ensure the safety, privacy and GDPR conditions for health data of European projects, in coordination with VHIR
Legal Unit.

  • Manage project budget. Prepare and deliver the financial periodic progress reports, support project partners
regarding the eligibility of costs.
