About The Role

We are excited to be growing our local HR & Office team by adding this new and impactful HR & Office Coordinator role in our Barcelona office.

This position will report and work in collaboration with HR Manager, International to provide efficient and confidential support for the management of main human resources and office administration functions.


The HR & Office Coordinator will act as the point of contact for all office assistance, social engagement, and human resources questions from staff.

This role will have high visibility and impact across our European operations (Spain, UK, Netherlands, Italy) and will support our European employees throughout their career with Boats Group by creating an engaging, productive, and fun environment for all


What You'll Do

HR Administration

  • Administers the onboarding process for staff, which includes organising and conducting new hire orientations, preparing employment documents, managing IT & HR system onboarding and new hire benefits registration.
  • Responds to daytoday HR policy and operational questions.
  • Responsible for data management within the Company HR & Recruiting information system
  • Maintains employee personnel records.
  • Assist with terminations administration.
  • Coordinate with the internal IT Support team Leaver Company property return in a timely manner
  • Supports HR Manager, INTL and Global HR team with various projects as needed.
  • Assists with facilitation of professional development training programs for employees.
  • Effectively collaborates with internal teams and external providers to deliver best in class HR support to employees across International.

Office Administration

  • Manage various business services which include mail, office services, catering and office maintenance.
  • Coordinating office meetings and events
  • Run People Culture Committee and organise fun and engaging virtual and inperson events across all European operations.
  • Facilitating ergonomic evaluations and supporting employees with any ergonomic requests.
  • Ensuring compliance with building rules and regulations/liaise with building management and any relevant country regulators.
  • Effectively collaborate with the internal IT Support team to ensure effective office set up.
  • Ensuring office resource materials and Company swag are updated and maintained.
  • Coordinating timely payment of office expenses
  • Any other duties/adhoc projects related to office, culture & engagement.
  • Effectively collaborate with other internal team to deliver best in class office & culture experience.

What You Should Have

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written in English & Spanish.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships internally & externally.
  • Customer Service attitude and proactive in problem solving.
  • Passionate about creating engaging & productive environment.
  • Able to manage multiple processes and projects with mínimal direction.
  • Possess a high level of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Have strong organisation skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of Word

  • A high school diploma or GED. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
