Within this dynamic, results driven and international environment we are looking for a Country Manager to join our business based in our Madrid office.

As a key leader within Atradius Collections Spain, you will be responsible for driving and managing the delivery of P&L targets within the Country, alongside the overall management of the local Atradius Collections team.

This is a great opportunity for a motivated, customer focused leader to join us in this hands on and international position.


You will also be responsible for driving the commercial strategy, building business by winning us new customers and accounts whilst maintaining strong internal relationships between Atradius Credit Insurance and Atradius Collections.


In this position you will be responsible for driving and managing the local P&L.


Your key responsibilities will include:


  • Providing guidance and support to ensure successful delivery of key performance indicators
  • To drive the delivery of Collections key priorities within the given country in order to generate profit, drive sales & inflow and improve operational business processes in order to provide optimal customer service.
  • Own the setting, monitoring and management of performance to achieve targets and KPIs for the country
  • Own the development and implementation of systems within the Country
  • Strong Commercial Background.

Act as a key contact for local stakeholders:
ACI; customers; channel partners; trade associations etc

  • Localize and implement global processes and procedures in line with the country requirements.
  • Implement the country plan and ensure the strategy is aligned with the Global Collections Unit and the local country.
  • Localize and implement global program initiatives within the country
  • Develop and monitor reporting and analysis of MI for the country
  • Drive and deliver proactiveness in communication and performance in case handling
  • Streamline service delivery with ACI country management to insured customers and increase NNP inflow
  • Increase profitable inflow from noninsured customers and segments

What qualification should you have?

  • Excellent Managerial experience, with strong leadership skills to coach, lead, motivate and develop the team, willing to share knowledge and expertise, ability to manage different teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, will have ability to communicate across multiple levels and will adapt approach to suit the audience
  • Strong international working experience in a multinational business service environment
  • Entrepreneurial business focused orientation, motivator & energizer for delivery
  • Organised in approach, is able to work under pressure, prioritize and achieve deadlines.
  • Good knowledge of credit management, international collections industry and Financial industry
  • Proven sales skills and ability to generate/service International Key Clients
  • Good knowledge of project management and ability to implement (complex) projects
  • Willingness to travel Internationally
  • Bachelor or University degree or equivalent work experience
  • Excellent language skills in English and preferably a second foreign language
