Essential Duties & Responsibilities include the following:

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operational Oversight: Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of all facilities within your assigned region. This involves overseeing the daytoday activities, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Staff Management: Supervise and lead a team of facility managers and staff across multiple locations. Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Budgeting and

Financial Management:
Develop and manage budgets for each facility within your region. Monitor expenses, control costs, and identify opportunities for cost savings. Collaborate with finance teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and forecasting.

  • Performance Evaluation: Set performance goals and expectations for facility managers and staff. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback for improvement. Recognize and reward outstanding performance while addressing any performance issues or concerns.
  • Vendor and

Contractor Management:
Establish and maintain relationships with external vendors, contractors, and service providers. Negotiate contracts, review service level agreements, and ensure quality standards are met. Monitor vendor performance and address any issues that may arise.

  • Compliance and

Regulatory Requirements:
Stay up to date with local, regional, and national regulations pertaining to facility operations. Ensure facilities are in compliance with all applicable laws, codes, and regulations. Implement and monitor appropriate protocols and procedures to mitigate risks and maintain compliance.

  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute strategic plans for facility operations. Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and operational efficiency. Provide input and recommendations on facility expansion, relocation, or consolidation projects.
  • Communication and

Stakeholder Management:
Foster effective communication and collaboration with internal stakeholders, such as department heads, HR, and finance teams. Act as a liaison between facility managers and senior management, providing regular updates and reports on regional operations.

  • Emergency Preparedness and Response: Develop and implement emergency preparedness plans and procedures for facilities within your region. Ensure staff are trained on emergency protocols and conduct regular drills. Coordinate with local authorities and emergency services as necessary.
  • Support the successful implementation of portfoliowide initiatives and programs including savings program, energy program, HSSE, playbooks, training & development, and succession planning.

Skills/Experience/Education

  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Effective communication with the client, customers, and management team.
  • Ability to priorities and solve administration problems providing a variety of options in a range of situations.
