For our Onshore project execution department, we are looking for a Contract Implementation Manager with a flavor for financials.

Our department is financially responsible for the project execution of all projects within the South of Europe and Africa region and support this with a focus on planning, managing and reporting of the project as well as contract and claim management.


We are building up competencies in our department with skilled personnel which have the ability to work as an internal legal advisor to the financial team by providing insight from a legal point of view, by analyzing and interpreting contract and claim situations, by assessing the financial impact of such situations to our business and by performing hands on activities to write legal statements, notices and claim documentation.

As a Contract Implementation Manager, you will:

  • Act as a consultant to the Financial Project Manager and other team members.
  • Assist in regard to managing of the contractual relationship between the contract parties and in resolving contractual issues in a proactive manner before and/or when they occur.
  • Analyze the contract to raise awareness of notification requirements and to allow the responsible team members to efficiently coordinate interfaces.
  • Monitor the execution of the contract with the aim of identifying risks and opportunities for potential claims.
  • Perform Contract and Claim Strategy Workshops.
  • Prepare, update and coordinate the claim strategy for each project.
  • Prepare, collect, document and coordinate the sent out of all documents related to a certain claim.
  • Supporting the Project Team in notifying, assessing, asserting/defending, negotiating and monitoring identified claims e.g. by preparing notifications and claim letters.
  • Supporting the legal department in case of Dispute Resolution and arbitration / court proceedings.
What you need to make a difference

Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change.

We are also looking for

  • You have successfully completed a University degree, ideally in business law or law, also valuable on finance.
  • You have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a comparable function and have experience in negotiating claims.
  • Expertise in international contract law and negotiation techniques are part of your profile.
  • Experience in sales and project management as well a knowledge of the wind market, its customers and competitors would be highly appreciated.
  • Very good knowhow and experience in risk management as well as intercultural experience complete your profile
  • Your knowledge of English and Spanish is business fluent.
