**What you'll do

  • Ensure the most effective and efficient provision of labour to support critical supply chain operations. This will involve reviewing operational performance and making labour plans that progressively move operations to deliver to budget.
  • Support team planner on the use of the labour system and daily operational tasks in order to extract the maximum benefit.
  • Develop safe and cost efficient future forecasting labour planning for the region, contributing to the national workforce plan.
  • Accountable for the oversight, monitoring and control of team planners at a zone level.
  • Build and lead a positive culture through high levels of team member engagement, coaching and development.
  • Engage with distribution centre stakeholders to drive optimum planning practices, forecasting and delivery of workforce. Attend all duties required of a team planner on site as coverage for any leave absences or distribution centre volume demand.
**What you'll bring

  • Experience in a complex logistics or scheduling/planning environment.
  • Experience in a high volume planning environment
  • Exceptional customer service skills, analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated capacity to lead change and implement best practice
  • Strong analytical thinking with an ability to make sound decision making through detailed analysis and problem solving.
  • Demonstrated experience and ability to lead and manage teams Advanced computer literacy, particularly in Excel/Google Sheets.
