The
Corporate Communications Manager is a multi-functional role within the Global Corporate Communications Department.

As a key member of the Corporate Communications team, the Manager will have responsibility for the development, management, implementation, and evaluation of both strategic and tactical communication plans to build and enhance the company's brand and corporate image among external and internal audiences.


What your responsibilities will be

  • You will have responsibility for the development, implementation and management of both strategic and tactical communications strategies to promote and publicize a variety of departmental projects, services and programs.
  • You will work with your Corporate Communications colleagues and other Grifols departments and teams to devise communications materials that support Grifols' strategic priorities.
  • You will coordinate and manage writing, development and dissemination of company news for internal audiences and sporadically also for external stakeholders.
  • You will play a key role in drafting, editing and adapting key corporate narratives and materials, in particular relating to our sustainability efforts and initiatives.
  • You will develop, execute and direct communication plans on key strategic initiatives for the business, helping craft materials to support these campaigns, working together with content agencies and other teams.
  • You will serve as liaison with other business areas (HR, IT, IR, etc.) to identify and or respond to content needs and assist with creation; develop and execute strategies that help build brand commitment and engagement for key company initiatives.
  • You will help ensure consistency and alignment across all corporate communications materials in both internal and external owned channels.
  • You have knowledge of brand guidelines and the company tone and style with the ability to teach others and guide projects so that they align to branding guidelines.

  • You have a Bachelors' degree in communications, journalism, marketing or a related field and/or relevant experience.
  • You are Bilingual in English/Spanish or a native English speaker.
  • You have excellent writing skills and experience editing and writing, with the ability to create stories based on more complex/technical topics
  • You bring 8 years of experience in communications or journalism, ideally within the healthcare/pharma sectors.
  • Ideally you also have experience helping companies raise awareness of their social and sustainability initiatives, helping draft communication materials for multiple channels to support these efforts.
  • You are selfstarter, able to drive high volume of work to completion with minimum input and careful attention to detail
  • You have excellent project planning, management, execution, and recordkeeping skills.
  • Some travel may be required (limited international travel).

Monday-Thursday 7-10 to 16-19h and Friday 8-15h.
