    Job Description:

    Club La Santa is seeking an experienced Internal Prevention Service Technician to join our Facility and Maintenance department. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing preventive measures focusing on two of the following specialties: occupational safety, occupational medicine, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, and applied psychosociology.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Lead and coordinate the implementation of preventive measures in the following specialties: safety at work, occupational medicine, ergonomics, and applied psychosociology.
    • Lead, create, and implement preventive programs and procedures.
    • Conduct regular assessments to identify potential risks and hazards, as well as follow-up corrective actions.
    • Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure the integration of preventive strategies into daily operations.
    • Define prevention training plans and materials, providing ongoing training to employees on best health and safety practices.
    • Ensure the organization's compliance with relevant standards and guidelines.
      • Lead investigations into workplace incidents, identifying the root causes and implementing solutions.
    • Maintenance of the department's documentation and registration system (prevention plan, risk assessment, planning of preventative activities, emergency plan, etc).
    • Participation in the Health & Safety Committee.
    • Coordinate the delivery of prevention documentation by external companies accessing our facilities.

    About You (Essential Knowledge):

    • Native or bi-lingual in Spanish, with exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written).
    • Relevant degree or studies (including higher / intermediate technician in Occupational Risk Prevention, etc).
    • Proven experience in a similar role, with a track record of successfully implementing and managing preventive measures.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal – confident in conveying safety protocols, training materials, and incident reports.
    • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
    • Advanced Microsoft Office skills – Word, Excel.

    About You (Beneficial Knowledge):

    • Certifications in relevant areas such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), or equivalent.
    • Master's degree in occupational risk Prevention.
    • Additional certifications in preventative specialties would be advantageous.
    • Knowledge of industry-specific hazards and challenges relevant to Club La Santa.
    • Experience customising preventative measures based on industry.
