IO Interactive is hard at work developing two exciting game projects: Project 007, a brand-new James Bond video game featuring an entirely original Bond story, and Project Fantasy, an ambitious new IP for console and PC that will revolutionize the online fantasy RPG genre.


We are actively seeking a
Studio Manager to play a pivotal role in fostering growth and excellence within our Barcelona office.

What you will do:


  • Managing local HR to optimize our EVP and collaborating with Global HR Lead, People Managers, and other studio managers.
  • Help optimize collaboration across production and departments
  • Being a promoter and catalyst of both overall IO values and culture and the local flavor of these
  • Define and execute IOI Barcelona's OKRs, contributing to the overall mission and goals of IOI
  • Steering projects, ensuring office space and facilities can accommodate for IOI's growth and aspirations
  • Create and maintain studio related budgets, including cost controlling. (e.g., the studio's Administration Budget)
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, Legal, Facilities, Marketing, and Production to ensure initiatives are effectively implemented.
  • Ensure IOI is represented in the local games industry and beyond and support employer branding initiatives
  • Help attract key hires to the studio
  • Ensure that business is run in accordance with local law and regulations
  • Drive local CSR / ESG initiatives ensuring alignment with local regulations
  • Collaborate with and support executive management in implementing cross studio initiatives that is not directly owned by departments
  • Take a proactive role in the planning and executing of studio events
  • Ensure our seating plan is optimal for promoting collaboration

Who you are

  • A deep passion for video games and the culture
  • Solid understanding of all aspects of AAA video game production
  • Hands on experience with operating a business locally
  • A proven leadership track record
  • A proactive and approachable nature
  • Strong skills in establishing and maintaining processes
  • Strong skills as facilitator as well as ability to foster collaboration
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • A keen eye for details and the ability to create consensus around the big picture
