THERMAL ENGINEER

Activities include:

  • Support TMS engineer in activities to design and integrate the TMS.
  • Support TMS engineer in supplier followup and technical exchanges.
  • Support in TMS integration and validation test ( procurement, test bench design and set up, test results post processing)
  • Documentation (test and calculation report).
  • Provide Aerothermal support (CFD).
  • Explorate innovative TMS design within the strong performance and safety focus.
  • Support the design effort on the TMS at propulsion system and Aircraft level.
  • Support TMS engineer on supplier discussions through the whole product lifecycle: specification, supplier selection, joint design phase, interface definition, development, testing and integration within the propulsion system
  • Propose and implement the specification, interface definition as well as integration of the TMS.
  • Support TMS engineer on integration activities (mechanical, aerodynamics etc...)
  • Support on safety analysis on the perimeter (TMS)

Profile:


  • Has extensive experience in designing or integrating thermal systems with high safety, reliability and performance requirements.
  • Knowledge of air and liquid cooling system design.
  • Has aerodynamics skills and able to solve from the first principle complex aerothermal issues.
  • Advanced Simulink/Simscape skills with a focus on 1D thermal modeling.
  • Experienced in CFD and 3 D Modelling with some CAD skills.
  • Has a deep understanding of power electronics / HV Battery and electronics's cooling issue in general.
  • Is able to work autonomously with a drive for initiative related to the startup environment and work in a small team.
  • English spreaker
