Over the coming years, biotech will fundamentally rewrite the way we live. Gene editing and cell therapy are dramatically changing how we treat cancer and other major illnesses. Seqera Labs' mission is to empower scientists everywhere with foundational software for collaborative data analysis.

Seqera Labs' founders are the creators of Nextflow, the most widely used framework for computational pipelines and largest community of computational scientists curating pipelines for advancing science.

Seqera Labs' goal is to provide the full suite of commercial products enabling effortless data analysis, for every scientist, on any infrastructure.

About the role

For the first time, Marketing will be responsible for driving a sizable amount of Seqera's revenue, in addition to setting the stage for the next phase of the company, elevating its brand value and establishing it as a leader in the space.

In order to face this both strategically, as well as tactically, we are seeking a Marketing intern to give operational support on content and field activities.

Your mission will be to:

Support the Field Marketing Manager in the organization of our open source main project Annual Summit.
Support the Field Marketing Manager organization of Seqera ́s presence in sponsored events in Europe.
Support the Marketing Director in the social media management and digital presence of Seqera Labs channels.
Support in the materials/merchandise needs for our internal and external events.

About you.

We are looking for someone with:

Some experience in project management or general marketing support activities.
Some experience creating or managing content in social media, using scheduling tools such as Hootsuite.
Be able to sign an agreement with the university or an internship contract.
Exceptional communication skills, highly organized, collaborative, and detailoriented
A builder likes to be part of a core team that is building a new thing from scratch.
Strong analytical and prioritization skills, with excellent problemsolving abilities in the face of ambiguity.
Background or knowledge in healthcare or Pharma would be nice to have.
