YOUR ROLE
The Operations Engineer acts as the right hand to the Global Head of Engineering within CEVA Project Logistics.

Prepare marine transport and various other heavy transport operations by producing the Engineering deliverables as agreed in the scope of work.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Assist with technical submission for project cargo (method of statement, lifting and stowage plans, strength and stability calculations, etc).
Assist with Risk Assessment to undertake and complete the shipment in a safe and efficient manner without accidents or incidents
Assist to BD or Project Team members with technical analysis of RFI/Q's and other relevant customer requests.
Assist to BD or Project Team in customer meetings on technical matters.
Assist to onsite operations support if required.
Ensures that Health and Safety rules and regulations are being complied with.
Ensures that subcontractors, heavy lift operators, carriers, hauliers, etc, comply with Method Statement and if required appropriate corrective actions taken.
Ensures communication channels with Customers, selected vendors, and Global Project Logistics team and at alltime up to date with what has been defined.
Monitor healthy and safe operations.
Monitor technical data & resource management.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

University or Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture or Marine/Offshore Engineering (or similar through work experience).
Comprehensive technical knowledge with ability to read, analyse, and interpret technical documents from carriers and customers.
AUTOCAD, FEM Software

Desirable

Min 1 years in comparable maritime related markets, Project field and/or Heavy lift Operation or Heavy Haulage industry.
Knowledge of HSSE policies.
Knowledge of all transport modes and operations.
Knowledge of contracting, negotiating.
Explore alternatives and positions to reach outcomes that gain all parties' support and acceptance.
Ability to analyze and interpret data.
Analyze complex problems and develop alternative solutions.
