JOB DESCRIPTION
Education and qualifications:

PhD in the field of biosciences
Experience and knowledge:
Required:
-
Experience in cellular and molecular biology assays
- Background in immunology, molecular and cellular biology and analytical techniques
- Knowledge and experience in tissue collection, processing and analysis
- Significant experience in troubleshooting, method development, and optimization of biology assays
- Proven ability to write SOPs and train others to successfully perform the work
- Experience in quality systems (e.g. ISO 9001 environments)
- Good computer skills, basic knowledge in bioinformatic and statistical analysis
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- Good writing and communication skills

Main responsibilities and duties:

Lead the research of cutting-edge technology and techniques applicable to biobanking based on emerging
interests in biomedical research
- New protocol development and implementation on sample collection and sample processing methods, mainly
- Identify promising new concepts in scientific publications applicable to biobanking
- Benchmark on biobanking procedures and workflows
- Set up of new operational procedures in the biobank directory
- Review current SOPs to identify areas for improvement
- Assist in biobanking and key lab operations
Labour conditions:

Full-time position: 40h/week
- Starting date: May 2023
- Gross annual salary: 35.000€ €, based on experience and abilities.
- Contract: permanent linked to project
