DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:

Collaborates on or drives business reviews and carrier meetings (reviews should be done face-to-face as well as over the phone)
Manages carrier expectations through the use of SOPs, KPIs and other account metrics.
Develops carrier relationships and contacts at multiple levels to support trade lane development.
Promotes network collaboration.
Accountable to independently manage and grow trade lane level relationships to build diverse and balanced Carrier portfolio.
Responsible to demonstrate growth in owned carrier relationships. Expected to go beyond the core carrier portfolio to build trade lane solutions
Develops supply chain solutions in order to effectively support our customer gotomarket strategy
Resolves problems, including identifies issues, thinks critically, seeks input to determine the best course of action, and implements solutions
Ensures that specific customer load requirements are met on committed and/or adhoc shipments
Studies and understands market trends and seasonality.
Coaches and mentors new Operations Representatives
Manages own personal development plan
Is aware of and is aligned with the branch strategy and vision
Other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country specific requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in road freight

Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)

Commercial skills

Preferred:

Entrepreneurial character

International mindset

Strong ability to persuade, motivate, negotiate, and influence others

Ability to thrive under deadlines and work in a team environment, while also delivering independent results

Driven, enthusiastic, and highly committed

Ability to build strong relationships.

Good understanding of the transport and logistics market

Additional European language is an asset

Master's degree

Values a diverse and inclusive work environment
