Job description:

The Global Product Manager 3D Printing Solutions is a key role which will drive impact on the Straumann Group 3D printing business through developing and implementing the global strategy of a fast-developing portfolio and ensure its strategic alignment across all relevant Straumann Group stakeholders.

He or she is responsible to create and lead the product strategy of this strongly expanding segment, namely by integrating new products and solutions, consisting of printers and resins, in interdisciplinary workflow and treatment protocols.

Alongside building and executing the roadmap, the Global PM defines and aligns the tiered brand strategy and positioning of the different resins fuelling Straumann and third-party printers.

Therefore, the Global PM partners up and establishes trusted relationship with group brands.

The Global PM works closely with diverse development teams, local and regional marketing and sales team, group brands, but also demonstrates a strong drive of new and/or actual strategic manufacturers to ensure solid product integration in the treatment workflow and group solutions.

For this, the Global PM understands the overall customer journey, from data acquisition, planning to product production, to tactically define and position the relevant 3D printing products and solutions.

This highly cross-functional role requires high energy level, strong ownership, strategic thinking and a great facility to build bridges between different functions, teams, brands, partners in a global and multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities:

Develop and implement the global strategy, roadmap and related insights across our global printing solutions and related treatment workflow
Own the portfolio roadmap (including lifecycle) and ensure development of differentiated solutions addressing market requirements, new enhancements and customer pain points
Manage market introduction, launch readiness, geographic portfolio extension and related tasks in close collaboration with local and regional marketing and sales teams
Be the product expert and contact person for all product related questions
Drive alignment and engagement across functions, coordinate with multicultural teams and entities
Develop and sustain trusted relationship with key customers, internal and external stakeholders
Manage existing and / or new partnerships for successful development and commercialization of the portfolio
Work closely with target customers to understand their needs, gain deep insight on product usage and performance, as well as specific market needs
Analyse the market, competition and customer needs to clearly define the business strategy and priorities
Monitor business impact and effectiveness of products and solutions

Profile:

Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration or engineering, life science
5+ years of professional experience in Product Management or related functions
Experience in working cross functionally in a fastpaced international environment
Experience in MedTech and/or dental is preferred

Skills:

Openminded personality with high level of integrity and ownership
Fast learner, curious with the ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously in a fastpaced environment
Actively encourages the cooperation across the organization (global, regional and country level) and manufacturers (internal and external)
Strong team player, comfortable in working within a multicultural environment and global teams
Result oriented with strong communication skills and execution abilities
Fluent in written and spoken English, any other language is an asset
