Location
Barcelona. This position is partially based in Barcelona, Spain combined with some remote working and the option of flexible hours.


Role

  • Work in a team environment to deliver Aimsun models and services to public and private clients in a timely and resourceefficient manner
  • Collaborate in a crossfunctional environment to scope and deploy Aimsun decision support systems for major cities and/or highway corridors
  • Use an analytical approach to assess and support quality management processes
  • Develop and review projectbased reports and technical specification documentation
  • Provide support to Aimsun clients

Reporting
You will report directly to the Head of Professional Services in Barcelona.

  • Lead regional and global projects in a timely and resourceefficient manner to a high level of quality
  • Lead modelling team to achieve deliverables and milestones
  • Assess resource requirements for projects and initiatives with clients
  • Contribute to Business Development, Sales, and Key Relationship Management initiatives
  • Represent Aimsun and present project work at conferences and industry forums

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant branch of Engineering, preferably Civil Engineering
  • Experience with Aimsun transport modelling software
  • At least 3 years' experience in traffic modelling and/or transport planning fields
  • Ability to work independently with strong selfmanagement skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  • EU citizenship or Spanish work permit

Highly Desired

  • Indepth understanding of the transport planning and network operations industry
  • Transport Demand Modelling experience
  • Strong problemsolving and innovation skills
  • Coding skills in Python and/or C++
  • Project management and leadership skills
  • Excellent German written and verbal communication skill
