    Context And Mission
  • Considering Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities and potential risks, and taking into account its limitations, AI4CCAM will develop an open environment for integrating trustworthybydesign AI models of vulnerable road user behaviour anticipation in urban traffic conditions, and accounting for improved road safety and user acceptance. Leveraging the Trustworthy AI guidelines for general intelligent software systems and the ethics recommendations for connected automated vehicles, AI4CCAM will support AIbased scenarios management in which pedestrian/cyclist behaviour anticipation models will integrate visual gaze estimation and where explainable ego car trajectory prediction models are simulated with ethical dilemmas and multiplied with generative adversarial
- networks and metamorphic testing techniques.

  • The purpose is to give technical support to the WP3 devoted to ELSEC AI activities, in particular to contribute to the task of identifying biases in datasets through explainability methods.
  • Este contrato es parte del proyecto "Inteligencia Artificial distribuida para el diagnóstico y tratamiento temprano de enfermedades con gran prevalencia en el envejecimiento", financiado por el Ministerio para la Transformación Digital y de la Función Pública por la convocatoria Programa Misiones de l+D en Inteligencia Artificial 2021 y cofinanciación con fondos europeos provenientes del Mecanismo de Recuperación y Resiliencia (MRR).
    Key Duties
  • Support in ELSEC AI activities in the field of AI in CCAM
  • Develop a comparative framework of explainability methods and indicators
  • Work in a multidisciplinary environment

Requirements:


  • Education
  • Degree in Computer Sciences, Mathematics or related fields
  • Essential Knowledge and Professional Experience
  • Experience/ knowledge on ML/DL methods
  • Understanding on XAI
  • Additional Knowledge and Professional Experience
  • Fluent in English (oral and writing)
  • MsC in Artificial Intelligence is recommended
  • Competences
  • Strong personal softskills sets: Communicative, enthusiastic, highly collaborative, proactive, selfdriven
  • Technical writing skills
  • Good writing and presentation skills

Conditions

  • The position will be located at BSC within the Computer Sciences Department
  • We offer a fulltime contract (37.5h/week), a good working environment, a highly stimulating environment with stateoftheart infrastructure, flexible working hours, extensive training plan, restaurant tickets, private health insurance, support to the relocation procedures
  • Duration: Openended contract due to technical and scientific activities linked to the project and budget duration
  • Holidays: 23 paid vacation days plus 24th and 31st of December per our collective agreement
  • Starting date: 1st of June 2024
