Education Programme Coordinator - Santa Lucia de Tirajana, España - Peace Corps

The Education Development Management Unit (EDMU) of the Organisation of the Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) Commission in St. Lucia has requested the support of a Peace Corps Response Volunteer (PCRV) to serve as an Education Programme Coordinator. Developments in the education sector are evolving rapidly especially given the challenges and effects of COVID-19 including student learning loss and enhancing safe learning environments. The EDMU is in the process of strengthening its capacity to effectively manage and implement the Inclusive Education Programme. Program research including new trends in the education sector is needed for the continued development of regional teaching and learning guidelines.
The PCRV will be part of management team and staff of the EDMU working on the effective coordination of the activities of several Technical Working Groups, consultancies and other in-country stakeholders. The PCRV will also support team reviews of documentation, resource development and the monitoring and evaluation of program activities which will inform future iterations of the Inclusive Education Programme.
Candidates selected for this position will be arriving in the Eastern Caribbean together as a group, so while the departure dates for the whole group could change, dates cannot be changed for individual candidates.

Required Skills
● Bachelor's degree in any field of education or social sciences.
● Training in learning technologies.
● At least five years' experience in the education sector.
● Ability to work in a highly agile work environment.
● Able to persevere and navigate challenges (travel, climate, intercultural communication, and organizational cultural, etc.).
● High tolerance for ambiguity and high level of flexibility
