Title: Expert in Robotics and Digital Fabrication

The Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia is seeking an expert to join its team. Key responsibilities include:

1. Providing technical support to academic seminars and research projects;
2. Conducting research on novel digital fabrication processes;
3. Participating in the development of applied research and industrial applications;
4. Designing, automating, and programming.

Focus areas encompass Digital Fabrication and Sustainable Design, Robotic Fabrication and Advanced Manufacturing, Autonomous Robotics and Interaction in Construction.

Skill Requirements:

1. Expertise in Industrial robots (KUKA / ABB / UR);
2. Knowledge of advanced manufacturing (Composites / Additive manufacturing);
3. Programming skills in Python, Java, and C#;
4. Prior experience in building materials (advanced/biomaterials) and autonomous robotics (mechatronic/programming/ROS) is beneficial;
5. A background in Academia and Industry is desirable;
6. Able to work independently and take on responsibilities;
7. Motivated, enthusiastic, and social individual.

Work Arrangement: Full-time position, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Requirements: Fluent English speaker, basic Spanish knowledge; valid work permit for Spain.
