We are looking for a Social Media Intern to join the Disney+ Marketing Team in our Madrid Office.


As an Intern within the team, you will be responsible for managing social media profiles, liaising with our vendors (Community Managers, Media Planners, Designers and Developers) collaborating with internal teams (such as Marketing, Public Relations, Retail/E-commerce, Customer Relationship Management) and internal clients at a local and international level.


We are looking for a highly organised intern with a creative mindset who will be able to develop and execute Marketing strategies on social media using content to engage users and investing in paid advertising campaigns to amplify awareness.

In this role, you would learn new tools, functionalities, and latest trends quickly and effectively. You will also develop your data skills through analysing web, mobile, social and campaign metrics to inform strategy.


_ This is a 12 month opportunity which requires you to be on-site at our Madrid Office 4 days a week._

OVERALL

  • Support the social media marketing team to increase awareness, buzz and engagement around Disney+ brand, with special focus on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok & Twitch, with both organic and paid campaigns.

SOCIAL MEDIA

  • Manage and moderate Disney+ social networking profiles: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
  • Produce social conversation calendars and setting templates for the different titles.
  • Analyse the performance of social media platforms and general insights.
  • Look for new proposals and benchmarks.
  • Coordinate Influencer activations materials with various agencies.

BOUGHT MEDIA

  • Participate in Social Media Ad campaigns management and analysis.
  • Support Bought Media activity campaigns if needed.

MATERIALS

  • Liaise with Regional and Global teams to request digital materials for our territory, for example social games, banners, toolkits etc.
  • Creation of local materials liaising with the agencies and the Brand Managers (i.e. memes, viral videos, local spots etc.) and liaise with Regional and Global creative, social and legal teams to manage its approvals.

COMPETITIONS & SWEEPSTAKES

  • Legal adaptation of Terms & Conditions and mechanics verification, working closely with the Legal Department and with the Notary.
  • Search and optimisation of prizes involving as many lines of business as possible.
  • Implementation, supervision, and control of winners working closely with the agency and the Finance Dept.
  • Local reporting and sharing with Regional learning and insights.

Eligibility
To be eligible for this opportunity, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Have the Right to Work in Spain
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Available to start working fulltime as soon as possible.
  • University degree (Advertising or marketing degree preferred)

About you

  • Be comfortable with computer programmes, particularly Microsoft Office, Photoshop/Fireworks).
  • Ideally have some experience with digital marketing and social media
  • Have a demonstrated ability in problem solving by team working.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English.
  • Be able to work both independently and cooperatively in diverse group settings.
  • Have an analytical mindset and ideally some experience with analysing data with Omniture, BuzzMetrics, Google, Facebook and YouTube.
  • Proactively identify trends and opportunities to drive action and deliver value.
