Who are you?


Someone who like to cooperate between Business and IT using the Agile methodology because you know that these are two key levers of future value creation for a company.

To achieve this objective, the role of the Global Product Owner is what you are looking for.


Product is defined as a mix of IT & non-IT capabilities dedicated to a functional domain and served by a Squad team, e.g.

a multi-skilled team composed of a Global Product Owner and a realization team (IT Owner, Business Analyst, Developers) covering the full product life cycle.

The post-holder will act as an interface between the project NEO and the rest of the Squad team, as well as the rest of Transformation program's projects and other Business areas using the same product


The other objectives and purpose of this role is to be a Customer Voice and Agents Voice in the service delivery life cycle, ensuring that the solutions are designed and built with Customer in mind and in heart.


You will

  • Represent the product in the various governance bodies
  • Establish, nurture and communicate the product vision, in line with business strategy and business users'expectations
  • Be responsible to request the Project and Maintenance budget for the product
  • Be responsible for the Customer Experience of the product
  • Define the features that are expected in the product (from projects, from maintenance, from continuous improvement)
  • Challenge requirements from other business contributors
  • Work closely with the IT owner, realization team and take day to day decisions
  • Evaluate business value and set priorities (prioritization of product backlog), fostering consensus on value from the different business representatives.
  • Formalize expectations of product performance and delivered value through SLA
  • Be by the business sponsor, business contributors, business analysts and when required by project managers for project management capabilities.

In addition:


  • In the course of your duties, you are required to always consider the needs of the customer and how best you can serve them, for example always having regard to our requirements to treat our customers fairly
  • You must adhere to all internal policies and procedures regarding the management of your team (when applicable)
  • You must at all times act in the best interests and consider the broader impact of your decisions on the company as a whole

What does your day-to-day look like?

  • Evaluate the business value for each stories
  • Prioritize stories (prep, development, validation)
  • Keep Product Backlog clean and up to date
  • Organize preparation (workshops, deliverables)
  • Attend Agile rituals
  • Assist Agile team in understanding stories
  • Answer/Solve questions & issues
  • Relay Agile team blocking questions/issues
  • Organize Validation (Users tests)
  • Pronounce Story validation during sprint Review
  • Manage Report & Committees (Prepare, Animate, Minutes)
  • Arbitrates on local demands
  • Manages the budget transfer requests

Your Profile

  • Familiar with Agile terminology, concept and philosophy
  • In depth knowledge and recognized professional in his functional domain, with knowledge of the existing IT solutions if any is a plus
  • Knowledgeable in other functional families the post holder needs to interact with
  • Previous experience of working with IT teams is a big plus
  • Previous experience of working in multinational environment
  • Sound organisational, coordination, negotiation, problem solving and persuasion skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills both with top Management, peers and subordinates
  • Excellent standard of English, supported by relevant skills and experience against key requirements of role. Foreign language knowledge is a big plus
  • Excellent communication skills, with an ability to explain complex concepts clearly and articulate key points out of general ideas, as well as challenge business requirements with good communication/conviction/negotiation skills
  • Ability to demonstrate a highly professional work ethic in line with core AXA Travel insurance values and AXA Leadership Framework behaviours
  • Some international travel could be required occasionally
