PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

7 years Experience
Experience in leather work highly regarded
Must be fluent in English
Certificates in metalworking, blacksmithing, or related fields highly regarded
Ability to work in a team

JOB DESRIPTION

Craft highquality blades such as knives, swords, and other bladed weapons using traditional or modern techniques.
Work with various materials including steel, iron, and alloys to forge, shape, heattreat, and finish blades according to specifications.
Design and customize blades to meet the specific requirements and preferences of clients or customers.
Repair and maintain blades, including sharpening, reprofiling, and restoring damaged or worn blades to their original condition.
Use specialized tools and equipment such as anvils, hammers, forges, grinders, and heattreating furnaces to fabricate and finish blades.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when working with hot metal and operating machinery to prevent accidents and injuries.
Continuously refine and develop skills through practice, experimentation, and ongoing education in the field of blade smithing.
Collaborate with Supervisor, designers, and other craftsmen to ensure that finished blades meet desired specifications and standards
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including proper storage and maintenance of tools, equipment, and materials.

LOCATION
Amman, Jordan

The client will arrange the work visa and provide relocation if not local.

To be negotiated according to experience
