We're seeking a Sales Manager in Spain.


Join Solar Monkey and be part of our mission to accelerate the solar energy transition We empower solar installers with groundbreaking software, making their work more efficient and enabling them to install more solar systems.

Our software allows for remote design, sales, and maintenance of solar power systems.

With a strong presence in three countries and plans for international expansion, we've witnessed 5x growth in the Dutch market within 5 years.

Now, we're eager to replicate this success across Europe.


Responsibilities:


  • Explore and nurture business connections with solar panel installers and resellers in Spain to accelerate market penetration.
  • Daytoday management of team (currently 3 sales executives) located in Malaga, enable & coach them to be successful
  • Allocating time 5050 to do your own sales versus managing the team
  • Attend and showcase our products at trade shows and relevant industry events.
  • Engage in regular sales meetings alongside colleagues from different countries, including the Head of Sales.
  • Senior member in the Spanish team, collaborating with other departments like Marketing, Customer Success, Product, and Finance.

  • A background of more than 10 years in senior sales positions, preferably including some experience in coaching and leading sales teams.
  • While prior experience in B2B software is beneficial, What has a more pronounced impact is a proven track record in the solar industry.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or a related field
  • Native Spanish speaker & proficient in English (working proficiency)
  • Proactive in optimizing processes and streamlining operations
  • The Sales team works out of our Malaga office. Travel is expected twice a month for a mix of office and customer visits.
  • Available to work 32 to 40 hours per week (parttime or fulltime)
  • Adaptable within a rapidly growing scaleup environment

Screen Call:


60-Minute Interview:

Scheduled as a virtual meeting, this interview will involve the Hiring Manager. We'll delve into your background and experience, while also reserving time for any questions you may have.


Sales Assessment:

As part of this phase, you will be provided with a case to prepare in advance. During the assessment, your sales abilities will be evaluated by both the hiring manager and our sales team.
