Accial Capital are looking for a smart, driven, detail-oriented individual to join the team as Data Engineering
Manager. The success of Accial Capital is underpinned by high-quality data management. The ideal

responsibilities include:

Data Architecture and Design:

• Define and implement data architecture strategies to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into effective

models and structures.


Data Pipeline Development:

• Oversee the development and maintenance of robust ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and data

pipelines.

• Implement best practices for data ingestion, transformation, and integration to support analytics and

reporting needs.


Data Quality and Governance:

• Establish and enforce data quality standards and governance processes to ensure accuracy, consistency,

and reliability of data.

• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to address data quality issues and continuously improve data

management practices.


Performance Optimization:

• Monitor and optimize the performance of data systems to ensure efficient processing and timely

delivery of data to end-users.

• Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues in collaboration with the technical team.

Technology Stack Management:

• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in the data engineering space.
• Evaluate, select, and implement appropriate tools and technologies to enhance the data engineering

ecosystem.


Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with crossfunctional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders,

to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.

• Communicate technical concepts and solutions to nontechnical stakeholders in a clear and

understandable manner.


QUALIFICATIONS

• Advanced degree in Applied Math, Statistics, Engineering or equivalent
• 7+ years of experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• 7+ years of experience in software development
• 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure management
• Exceptional problemsolving and critical thinking skills
• Good communication skills and ability to present technical concepts and results to nontechnical

teams

• Strong English communication skills; Spanish skills are highly desirable
• Preferred technical skills: Python,.NET, SQL Server, AWS, React, Alteryx
