The Hotel


Renowned Parisian designers Gilles & Boissier, have created a sophisticated residential design for the 100 rooms and 53 suites, including several one-of-a-kind specialty suites, featuring unique design elements inspired by the hotel's historic connections to the city, Spanish culture and art.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the daily operation of the designated Partie to ensure that service runs smoothly.
  • Collaborate with the different outlets to create menu for a wide variety of standard and custom goods according to recipes and standard operating procedures.
  • Responsible for training and managing other colleagues on a daily basis with prep work and other functions in the kitchen.
  • Train, coach, and supervise kitchen line staff and being capable of remaining objective and factbased during coaching conversations, escalating when appropriate.
  • Assign daily production & nonproduction tasks (restocking items, cleaning, etc) to team members and ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner.
  • Confirm all food is prepared, handled and stored according to all required food safety standards.

Requirements:


  • Diploma in Culinary Arts preferred.
  • Able to communicate in English.
  • 3 years of previous managerial or supervisory experience in sizeable luxury hotel, hospitality industry or Michelin Restaurant.
  • Track record of leading and developing teams.
  • Possesses an eye for detail and can execute standards accordingly.
  • Ability to manage with mínimal supervision.
  • Exposure to financial controls and accountabilities.
  • Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule according to business needs.
