Madison Hunt is supporting a fast-growing European renewable energy platform with ambitions to become a fully integrated developer, covering development, construction and long-term operation of assets.

The business has an established presence across several core European markets and is continuing to expand geographically as it scales.
Backed by long-term capital, the focus is on disciplined growth, value creation and building a platform that can operate through cycles.
The initial focus is on owning group-level planning, forecasting, liquidity and capital allocation, before progressively taking on more responsibility across transactions, financings and broader financial leadership.
Over time, the role evolves into a full CFO position and a core member of the executive team, with meaningful exposure to shareholders and a key role in preparing the business for future exit events.
Own group FP& A, including long-term business planning, forecasting and scenario analysisLead liquidity management, cash flow planning and capital allocation across marketsAct as a close partner to the CEO on strategic and financial decision-makingSupport and then lead M& A, corporate and project finance transactions as the platform maturesEngage directly with shareholders, lenders and external advisorsHelp shape the finance function as it grows towards a full CFO-led structure Experience Required
Around 8+ years of relevant experience in FP& A, corporate xugodme finance or infrastructure focused rolesBackground in Big 4 advisory and or experience within a renewable energy developer or IPPStrong financial modelling, planning and commercial analysis capabilityComfortable operating independently and engaging with senior stakeholders and shareholdersClear communication skills and the credibility to represent the business at board and exit discussionsEuropean market exposure and willingness to travel as required Please note
