- Lead and guide a team consisting of business data/BI analysts, data SMEs, data services transition managers, and data engineers, providing them with mentorship and support to nurture their professional development.
- Facilitate requirements engineering processes to ensure a profound grasp of stakeholder needs, translating them into actionable insights and data solutions for successful project implementation.
- Act as a reliable data partner, counseling stakeholders on data-driven decision-making and best practices for leveraging pharmaceutical manufacturing data to drive business enhancement.
- Develop and uphold a comprehensive global strategy for Data Historian (PI) implementation, complete with a Data Model based on ISA95 incorporating Asset and Event Frameworks, and pertinent Master Data management specific to pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
- Offer technical expertise and assistance for maintaining and implementing GxP solutions, with a key focus on compliance and best practices concerning pharmaceutical manufacturing data.
- Provide the team with technical direction and support to ensure efficient execution of data pipelines, data modeling, ETL processes, and analytics frameworks.
- Create effective communication channels to provide regular updates on project status, key insights, and recommendations to stakeholders and senior management.
- Occasional domestic and international travel (up to 20%).
- Undertake other assigned duties to contribute to the overall success of the data insights team and organizational goals.
- Hold a minimum Bachelor's degree in data science, computer science, information management, or a related field
- Demonstrate proven experience in a leadership capacity overseeing data teams and delivering data projects, preferably in the pharmaceutical manufacturing domain.
- Desirable background in the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector or closely linked industries, with a strong grasp of MES, LIMS, QMS, and time series data solutions' data models and structures.
- Possess extensive knowledge of Data Historian implementation, particularly with PI systems, ISA95 Data Model, Asset and Event Frameworks, and Master Data management.
- Thorough understanding of GxP compliance requirements and best practices related to data management in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, business intelligence platforms, and data visualization tools (Process Analytical Technology tools).
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bring project management experience to the table, showcasing the ability to efficiently plan, execute, and monitor projects to successful completion
