R&D Engineer (Industrialization & Product Design Engineer) in
Barcelona we're looking for?

Your future role
You'll be the product Industrialization engineer to work on tools to acquire data in railway environment.

Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (industrial team, production), ensure that industrial processes are adequate and necessary in time, form and quality to achieve the objectives of the working group and ensure the reliability and availability of the equipment and much more.

You'll specifically take care of
proposing, developing and executing projects of applied research and technological development within business services, aimed at the validation in the field of the different developments, but also designing and industrializing products for data acquisition in railway environment.

We'll look to you for:

Product Design. Based on initial functional prototypes and operational availability requirements manage the design of data acquisition products with industrial criteria to improve the reliability and availability of the equipment.
Management of special facilities.

Integration for the industrialization of a measuring station based on laser measuring equipment:

Electric connection.
Pneumatic connection.
Integration of precision mechanical equipment.
Design equipment for safety and health and to guarantee the acquisition conditions.
Collaboration in the design, development, planning and monitoring of R & D projects both at the technical and economic levels.
Improvements and analysis of possible cost deviations.
Create R & D development proposals taking into account ideas proposed internally and externally to the company.
Continuous learning based on projects results.
Communication and dissemination of R & D initiatives and collaboration in the implementation of the programs and / or projects developed.
Participation in offers that include new technologies and / or products developed in R & D.

Industrial Engineer, Electromechanical specialty
Desirable Master's Degree
Experience in customer projects in industrial facilities.
Knowledge of Product Development (desirable within the railway sector).
Knowledge of Mechanical Design, Electrical Systems and Installations
Domain of CATIA design packages, CAD / CAM, SolidWorks.
Knowledge of Pneumatic and Hydraulic Connection.
Knowledge of Planning Software (MS Project, Primavera P6, Redbooth, Gantt Project,...)
Good Communications and interpersonal skills, must be able to communicate on all levels including customer facing
Flexibility & Adaptability
Proactive in proposing solutions, initiative
Able to think critically and using good judgment
Detailoriented
Strong analytical skills to interpret research data for reports
Ability to manage effectively and meet firm deadline
Design for Quality milestones and progress followup (manufacturing, testing, commissioning, and warranty )
Proposes and drives improvement action plans.
Guarantees Return of Experience of the deployments to new projects and Tenders.
Disseminates the results of the program within the different stakeholders of company (Operations, Regions,.).
Proposes new R&D initiatives, gathering ideas from inside and outside of the company.
