A temporary vacancy for an open position inside the Industrial Composite Technology Innovations team for Central Manufacturing Engineering has arisen within Airbus (Commercial Aircraft) in Illescas.

This team is the transnational team maturing new technologies in R&T in order to improve legacy & future programs.

Accountabilities:

Being an actor on R&T projects, the jobholder is responsible for the development & maturation of New Composite Manufacturing Technologies up to industrial maturity demonstration at full scale

The Jobholder is accountable for:

Planning, steering & reporting Composites Industrial technology R&T activities within the ME Community
Delivering mature solutions to product developments
Supporting local composite R&T team
Ensuring harmonized ME Principles, bestinclass and uptodate practices

Mission & Responsibilities:

Define & Manage execution of composite technology developments including composite automation & monitoring processes for future CFRP wings.
Organize & animate project progress reviews & generate associated reporting & action plan.
Manage risks inside the projects
Create and deliver documentation committed with CDTI public authorities.
Technical support for reporting towards CDTI

Your profile:

Academic degree for materials, manufacturing systems or similar
Experienced ion composite processes, technology and materials
Experienced in collaborating with Engineering
Experienced in managing projects related to composite manufacturing, including buy process for big machines and/or tooling.
Multiyear project management experience
Industrialization background would be a plus
Highly motivated, engaged & autonomous
Open minded for new developments
Being creative and eagerfor working in a transnational technical environment
Strong communication skills, including English and stakeholder management

This role may involve business travels to composite plants and suppliers
