WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As
Head of Data Analytics and Streaming Platform w e need somebody like you to help us in different fronts to:

Lead a team of Data architects ,
defining world-class
Data Analytics and Streaming Platform architectures **to deploy our Global CTO strategies, platforms and projects across Santander businesses, leveraging our Group Data technologies and reference architectures, making sure that the architectures are tailored to their needs and requirements, and securing its adoption by the business.

- **Provide technical excellence and support for all
Data Analytics and Streaming Platform across Santander entities, stakeholders and teams **, being a main point of contact for all related needs, and supporting the business with a portfolio of alternatives around a Data Analytics and Streaming Platform (public cloud based Data Lake / DWH technologies, Event-driven architectures, Data Ops, ML Ops, etc.) to respond to existing, or new business use cases enabled by operational an informational Data-driven solutions.

Manage the relationship with Top Technology Vendors at the technical, functional and roadmap levels, such as Amazon, Microsoft, Confluent, etc. with strong negotiation skills to be able to guide the relationship with them to the desirable outcome which is full compliance with Santander strategies.

EXPERIENCE
- +10 years' experience in large, complex organizations business-driven projects, leading the interaction with the business stakeholders, in the Retail banking business.
- +5 years' experience managing technology teams in projects involving Data-related technologies: Big Data, Cloud, AI/Machine Learning, Data Streaming, 360 Modelling, Governance, Quality, Data privacy.

EDUCATION

University Degree (postgraduate will be a plus).
Fluent in English and Spanish written and spoken.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

Ability to
engage and work closely with technical and business stakeholders to scope, define and deliver Data Analytics and Streaming Platforms, to enable Datadriven solutions to business use cases, which means being current in the Retail Banking and Financial services context.
Ability to **describe which are the benefits of
Data Analytics and Streaming Platform in technical terms and also to the business **for them to better understand how these solutions address their business needs.
Ability to
understand the functional needs of the businesses to map them to
Data Analytics and Streaming Platform requirements **, to leverage and help improve the Data Reference architectures they are based on.
Ability to **provide thoughtleadership and vision to technical/nontechnical audiences on
Data Analytics and Streaming Platform , strategies, architectures and technologies across Santander group.
Ability to
work with multidisciplinary teams across Technology, Businesses, CDO, CTO, CISO, DPO, etc. to perform requirements analysis, gap analysis, roadmap and adoption plans for the Data Analytics and Streaming Platform and initiatives being defined to ensure those solve businesses problems effectively.
Ability to
work closely with other Technical Reference architects to provide input and requirements **on the definition and evolution of reference and technical strategies and architectures.
Ability to
work with Data industry suppliers to identify growth opportunities **relevant to the business enabled by Data Analytics and Streaming Platforms.
Ability to
define success criteria and build a set of welldefined KPIs for adoption of Data Analytics and Streaming Platforms, strategies and architectures and monitor KPIs progress and implementation.
