Job Description:

The solutions engineer provides world-class customer service through the provision of impeccable solutions engineering. Our solutions engineering team is as passionate about our customers as they are with our products and end-to-end solutions.

We are deeply committed to ensuring that our products, service, and customer and technical support assist in protecting and enhancing our customers' brands.

Our solutions engineers engage with our customers directly in tandem with our sales team on various projects.

This includes providing layouts and designs for fruit handling and packing solutions that are fit-for-purpose, market relevant, profitable and meet our customer's needs.

Qualifications:

Manage budgets allocated for customer projects in the fresh fruit production sector, working on functional performance, system design, project cost, availability and reliability within the specified timeframe.
Participate in the sales, development and evaluation of system design in process facilities for customers.
Perform design reviews with crossfunctional teams.
2D drafting/design tools, especially AutoCAD/inventor; experience in 3D drafting/design tools strongly preferred.
Relevant experience in horticultural controls is an asset.
At least two years' experience in sales or service and customer experience improvement and at least two years' experience in the engineering sector.
Demonstrated ability to create innovative product handling solutions.
Focus on detail and accuracy.
English is a must, other languages are an asset.
