About your work with us


You will join the Department of Medicine, where you will participate in the development of a European-funded project in the area of forensic psychiatry under the direction of Dr.

Esperanza L. Gómez-Durán and Dr. Carlos Ga Forero.

You will be in charge of Data Management, statistical analysis and the writing and methodological guidance of methodology sections and analysis of results and data of the research team in direct collaboration with the Principal Investigators of the different Work Packages.

As a senior statistician, you will be in charge of the technical management of the methodological section, collaborating in drafting Clinical Trial protocol_s.

The team you will join has expertise in forensic psychiatry and the measurement and epidemiology of health outcomes.

The research work is conducted within the School of Medicine and Health Sciences, which offers Bachelor's and Master's degrees in an environment of highly motivated teaching and research professionals.

  • Write Randomized Controlled Trial Protocols

Selection process

We offer

  • Fulltime contract until 31/12/202
  • Salary according to UIC salary scales.
  • An exceptional working environment.
  • Start date: January-February 2023
  • Salary: 34.100€/year

Required...

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science and Engineering, Physics, Bioinformatics, Biomedicine, or related areas.
  • Master's or postgraduate degree in Statistics and Research or Methodology applied to Health Sciences (or equivalent).
  • Experience in Clinical Trials design and analysis.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills.
  • English level C1 or equivalent.

What else would we will like

  • A Ph.
D. degree

  • Two years of professional experience in data analysis in research.
  • Experience in research settings with peerreviewed scientific publications

Skills


Strong technical skills in most of the following areas: Data Analysis; Graphical Representation; Statistics; Clinical Trial Methodology; Programming in R, Python, C/C++; Machine Learning; Automatic Text Analysis; Bioinformatics; Medical Informatics.
