Job summary
We are seeking a Category Buyer to join our team! As a Category Buyer , you will provide data and insight to Category Managers for strategy development (e.g., supplier performance trends, recurring issues, market analyses) Draft budget support CatMan in its development Lead supplier homologation performance evaluation KPI monitoring Participate in supplier segmentation input for risk assessments Ensure all procurement activities business needs compliance with category strategies policies Execute local tenders negotiation contracts including ESG clauses drive Sustainability strategy Contribute executing SBU-specific initiatives Ensure correct spending categorization contract usage policy compliance Monitor performance suppliers SRM have recurring meetings ensure up-to-date data facilitate meetings sustainability key suppliers when needed Support maintenance SAP master data relevant procurement Manage price lists ensure they up date Support blocked invoices resolution Implement savings value creation initiatives contributing overall procurement targets Perform basic cost opportunity analyses identify value creation opportunities e.g Pricing TCO assessments benchmarking Identify formalize share insights CatMan Monitor record savings impacts from procurement initiatives Ensure category supports broader business initiatives e.g ESG innovation Introduce Sustainable Sourcing Manager suppliers if needed Collaborate closely functions Finance SC Quality Marketing Sustainability Innovation Industrial align operational priorities ensure procurement process followed respected e.g NPD projectsDescripción del trabajo
