We are looking for a Research Engineer to join the Additive Manufacturing Technology team focused on process optimization.

The researcher will work in thermo-mechanical modelling and data analytics related to the different technologies of additive manufacturing to work in projects related to productivity, quality and materials development.

Main responsibilities

Scientific research about process optimization.
Participate in R&D projects with multidisciplinary teams.
Work closely to materials development area.
Work with a variety of technologies in a dedicated Laboratory.
Continuous learning and technology watch.
Project management and continuous improvement.
Interact with the whole ArcelorMittal community: Global R&D specialists and technicians, plant experts, corporate teams, etc. and develop collaborative research with external partners (academic laboratories, technical centers, suppliers).

What we will need
-
Education:Industrial Engineer/Mining Engineer/Physics/Mathematics

Experience in Additive Manufacturing processes and materials Able to challenge current technologies / propose new ideas to research on disruptive solutions.

Languages: Level advanced in English and Spanish.

Valid work and residence permit for Spain.
Minimum requirements:
Knowledge about additive manufacturing technologies and atomization
Experience in design of experiments, simulation and modelling, programming, Data Analysis.
Experience in project coordination and management.
Soft skills: Initiative, Adaptability, Results Oriented, Team Work, Technological Curiosity.
