THE ROLE


You will be part of a strategic team, The Engineering Team provides technical support across all areas of the global organization and for projects being developed worldwide.

You will contribute to and support all areas of the company's Engineering Team, focusing on projects in various phases:
early development, pre-construction, and projects under construction.

  • Main duties*
  • Lead Technical Due Diligence (Acquisition and/or Financing) and manage internal and external service providers.
  • Conduct Energy Yield Assessments (EYA).
  • Perform LCOE optimization and analysis for new projects.
  • Support the assessment of new technologies (solar modules, inverters, structures).
  • Lead the development of Basic Design, including layout instructions and Single Line Diagrams (SLDs).
  • Lead the development of EPC Contract Technical Appendices.
  • Provide support to Project Managers in all technical aspects during the construction period, Works Completion, Performance Acceptance Certificate (PAC), and Final Acceptance Certificate (FAC).
  • Coordinate and manage Technical Advisors (Owner's Engineer, Lender's Technical Advisor, etc.) locally and internationally.
  • Review EPC Contractor bids, reports, orders, etc. for compliance with Owner's Requirements and EPC Contract appendices.
  • Conduct site visits to both new greenfield sites and sites under construction.
  • Support engineering analysis of curtailment and performance evaluation of new technologies.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Master's degree in Renewable Energy, Electrical or a related field is preferable.
  • 4+ years of experience in the Renewable Energy industry, focusing on both Solar PV and Wind sectors.
  • Experience/expertise in BESS and Hydrogen technologies is a strong advantage.
  • Experience in conducting Energy Yield Assessments (EYA) and solid knowledge of factors affecting PV and Wind plant performance.
  • Experience with largescale Solar PV and Windfarm projects in the region, working either on the Developer, EPC Contractor, or Technical Advisor side.
  • Fluent in spoken and written Spanish and English
  • Possess a full driving license.
