- Lead a team of software engineers to design and build our internal platforms.
- Adopt Agile ways of working and implement DevSecOps practices within the team.
- Gather requirements, with the larger team, to define high-level architecture, collaborate with developers across the team on design. Review and approve design.
- Planning budget, resources, and tools to deliver against our roadmap.
- Drive all aspects of the development, including requirements definition, design, implementation, unit testing, and integration. Oversee detailed designs, implementation, and test plan reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Work closely with stakeholders to provide status, iterative releases, and make design decisions throughout the development.
- Relevant work experience in platform software development (, AWS web services, CI/CD tools, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Observability, Kafka).
- Hands-on technical leadership and people management experience.
- Experience in creating and running an engineering for real-time, highly scalable platforms.
- Experience in delivery and tuning of complex technologies and complex real time, highly transactional, retail, distributed architecture stacks.
