Job description:

Conexus is proud to be partnering with a Global Chemicals company and we are looking for a highly motivated Data Center Engineer to join our team on a 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension based on project requirements.

As a Data Center Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company's data center infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, and network devices.
You will work closely with other members of the IT team to ensure the data center's availability, security, and performance.

Responsibilities:

High expertise in data center devices and technologies
Deep knowledge of the hardware side (servers) from the major vendors
Good technical skills datacenter management methodologies and best practice
Proactive approach to spotting problems, areas for improvement, and performance bottlenecks
Good leading/mentoring skills that motivate the teams you are leading
At least 5 years experience in Lead Technical Position
Strong infrastructure knowledge, including all the crossdomain knowledge
Documentation generation: Requirements, design, interface specification, test specifications
Effective influencing and negotiation skills in an environment
Excellent analytical, conceptual thinking, planning, and execution skills
Fluency in English (spoken and written)
