    Job Title: Sales & Events Operations Manager

    About the Role:

    We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Events Operations Manager to join our team at a prestigious international hotel in Barcelona.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead the Sales and Events Department, developing and implementing revenue strategies to exceed budgeted goals.
    • Oversee the development of team action plans, forecasting and evaluating trends to enhance revenues effectively.
    • Identify opportunities for improvement and assist in their development.
    • Develop and implement sales action plans for group, corporate, leisure, and catering segments.
    • Analyze forecast, cost, and revenue reports to make informed sales strategy decisions.
    • Organize and participate in fam trips and attend sales blitzes/missions for the hotel group in key markets.
    • Attend meetings as assigned and develop and maintain market trends and competitive set data knowledge.
    • Manage relevant reporting of management and financial information for the sales department.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in hospitality or business preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years' experience in HOTEL Sales Roles, with at least 3 years as a senior manager.
    • Excellent spoken and written communications skills in Spanish and English.
    • Good understanding and experience of group, corporate, leisure, and event markets.
    • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office.
