Job Summary/Purpose:

As part of the Identity and Access Management team, you will be responsible for Privileged Access Management globally. This role will focus on the design / re-design, the implementation, and the operationalization of these solutions globally


Your Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Lead and deliver the design, engineering, and implementation of PAM at Sandoz, including but not limited to:
  • Ownership of the design activities to secure the privileged access across ororganization
  • Make strategic design decisions related to solution design
  • Suggest industry best practices to be included in design
  • Lead the deployment, build and upgrade activities throughout the lifecycle of the
  • Be an ambassador for PAM across the organization and help drive change management across infrastructure teams (Windows, Linux, Database, Azure cloud, AWS etc.)
  • High availability and scalability of solutions
  • Break glass and disaster recovery design of solutions
  • Integrate PAM with broader IAM and IT interfaces such as AD & Azure AD, Target systems, SSO, HSM, MFA, and IGA
  • Make design decisions regarding the setup, key storage, integration with cloud solutions using SCEP and Intune configurations
  • Conduct internal assessments and analyse the results at least once each year about the 'health check' of the PAM.
  • Participate in vendor selection, Contract negotiation with technology vendors and service providers
  • Responsible to maintain and transition the design and configuration changes to operations team
  • Act as escalation point for major incidents and guide operations team in resolving active incidents
  • Clearly and confidently communicate technical concepts and risks to senior decisionmakers across the organization

What you'll bring to the role:

  • University degree or equivalent experience in computer science, engineering or information technology or another relevant field
  • Certification or accreditation in Information Security (CISM, CISA, CISSP, MS Azure, ITIL, etc.)
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • At least 10 years of experience in IAM domain; including more than 7 years of experience in privileged access management, secrets management and PKI
  • Deep knowledge and expertise of PAM domain including product specific knowledge of CyberArk
  • Solution design, architecture, and configuration knowledge of PAM and secret management use cases such as credential autorotation, checkout/ checkin, session management, monitoring, API based integrations, service account management, Conjur, etc.
  • Expertise in PKI including product specific knowledge of Microsoft PKI services
  • Demonstrated experience in PAM and PKI integrations
  • Experience in the Life Sciences industry is considered a plus
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills ability to develop influential relationships with different stakeholders across all levels
  • Experienced people leader with the ability to lead and develop teams across geographies, internal employees as well as external staff
  • An entrepreneurial mindset driven by curiosity, continuous improvement, and interest in technical advancements and IAM trends
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and properly delegate work
