    Job Title: Head of Studies

    A forward-thinking English language teaching institution, with a growing presence across Spain, is seeking an experienced professional to lead our brand-new academy in Malaga. As the Head of Studies, you will oversee the didactic team, coordinate class scheduling, and foster a collaborative environment.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Manage, train, and support the didactic team to ensure their professional growth and development.
    • Develop and implement effective class timetables in response to demand.
    • Teach classes, substituting for absent staff when necessary.
    • Maintain high standards through ongoing training, regular meetings, and quality control measures.
    • Collaborate with consultants, students, and staff to address concerns and improve performance.
    • Coordinate teacher holidays, rotas, and school events.
    • Promote school activities and events, ensuring staff are prepared.

    Requirements:

    • Essential: Degree-level education or above, CELTA/Trinity Cert TESOL/PGCE TEFL, or equivalent experience.
    • Ability to mentor and guide newly qualified teachers.
    • Leadership skills and organisational abilities.
    • Comfortable working with technology and IT systems.
    • Residence in Spain with EU working papers.

    • Social, active, energetic, and enthusiastic about participating in student events.
    • Adaptable, empathetic, and well-organised.

    Estimated Salary: Based on industry standards and location, we estimate the salary for this role to be around €45,000 - €60,000 per annum.
