Our client is an international company specialising in the turnkey construction of commercial, industrial and large-scale solar installations.

They have been a key-player in the solar photovoltaic market for more than 20 years and have established themselves into one Germany's top EPCs and project developers.

They are actively looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer for photovoltaic projects, who will be responsible for the electrotechnical design and planning of photovoltaic systems for ground mounted installations in Spain and Iberoamerica.

It is a permanent role, work location is at the company's HQ near Mannheim, Germany.

Electrical Engineer - Solar (m/w/d)

Field: Renewable Energy
Location: near Mannheim, Germany. Relocation required

Your Responsibilities:

Recollecting both specifications/requirement of the project and local regulations
Coordination with international authorities, grid operators, suppliers
Evaluation of relevant technical regulations and preparation of internal guidelines for the planning and safe operation of photovoltaic systems
Coordination with interal departments
Searching the market for different equipment solutions and specifications
Tendering, RFQ, and acceptance of subcontractors/supplier services
Proposing electrotechnical design and coordinating with engineering team
Coordinating technical solutions with customers
Tendering preparation of documents and proposals
Reviewing of planning documents from internal departments and external engineering offices

Your Profile

Completed electrical engineering degree
At least one year work experience in the photovoltaics sector or general electrical design
Very good English and Spanish language skills
German language skills desirable
Good knowledge in AutoCAD
Great interest in renewable energies
High customer orientation
Willingness to work flexibly on various projects
Team work orientated

Salary: 55,000.00€ - 60,000.00€ per year
